Crestron updates DM NVX AVoIP technology at ISE 2020

Crestron has debuted enhancements to its DM NVX AV over IP platform at ISE 2020, with native support for the AES67 AoIP standard.

The new functionality will be available for DM NVX products via a firmware upgrade.

Support for AES67 and DM NVX endpoints are included to send breakaway audio from a video source to mixers, DSPs and amplifiers in addition to receiving signals from mixers, DSPs and microphones that support the AES67 standard.

DM NVX can also push audio, control and USB 2.0 through one encoder/decoder over a 1Gb infrastructure, using the 802.1x authentication, AES encryption and Active Directory technology.

The NX2 series of DM NVX USB-over-IP endpoint extenders in a wall plate form factor were also debuted, adding routing and extension of USB 2.0 signals across the network between NX2 devices, being interoperable with DM NVX products.

USB 2.0 peripherals such as keyboard, video, mouse, webcams, microphones or mass storage can be also be routed.
