Crestron unveils AI-ready collaboration stack ahead of ISE

Fresh from its keynote today, Crestron has revealed a suite of new and updated collaboration technologies prioritising consistency, simplicity and scale across meeting spaces of all sizes.

At the foundation is a new Collab Compute platform for Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms on Windows, powered by Intel Core Ultra processors with integrated NPUs to support AI workloads at the edge. Crestron positions the platform as the “brain” of the room, designed for repeatable, tool-less installation and zero-touch provisioning at scale.

The latest version of Crestron’s unified communications platform, Collab Compute is designed to deliver a scalable foundation for spaces of every size, third-party collaboration platforms support features such as auto-framing, speaker identification, real-time transcription, and AI-enabled meeting experiences which rely on sustained local processing. Collab Compute will be able to run third-party collaboration platform capabilities while maintaining the performance and stability required in enterprise environments.

Crestron Collab features a built-in power supply and tool-free bracket mounting to simplify installation, allowing IT teams and integrators to deploy standardised systems. A range of cameras, microphones, speakers, and control interfaces, allowing organisations to tailor each room to its unique requirements while maintaining consistency across deployments, whether upgrading an existing space or designing a new environment.

Multiple display outputs support immersive, multi-screen layouts, while BYOD presentation and conferencing are supported for enhanced flexibility when sharing content.

Integration with XiO Cloud technology are supported, enabling remote provisioning, monitoring, and management of systems from a single platform.

80 series touchscreens

The company also highlighted its 80 Series touchscreens, which unify scheduling, UC control and full room control on a single hardware platform, alongside enterprise security via Microsoft’s Device Ecosystem Platform and centralised management through XiO Cloud.

The 80 series is available in three distinct variations, allowing organisations to deliver the right interface for a space. A room scheduling panel version is available with built-in light bars, as well as a wall mount control touch screen version, and tabletop control touch screen model. Available as eight-in panels outside small rooms or 10-in room control interfaces in boardroom environments, the 80 series provide a unified design and integrate with a number of support services, including Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Zoom Rooms, SpaceTi, Joan, and more.

Wall mount and tabletop touch screens are designed to deliver comprehensive room control and UC integration, including support for collaboration platforms.

The devices support 802.1X authentication, TLS encryption, and Microsoft Active Directory credential management integration. The 80 series is built on MDEP to provide security across sensitive networks, with PoE to simplify installation through single-cable connectivity, eliminating the need for local power supplies and flexible placement on walls, glass, mullions, and tabletops.

The 80 series is integrated with Crestron’s XiO Cloud platform, enabling remote provisioning, monitoring, and management of touchscreens across global deployments. IT users can configure devices, push updates, monitor health, and troubleshoot issues from a central dashboard, reducing truck tolls and minimising downtime.

The Crestron 80 series touchscreens will be available in Q2 2026.

On the video side, Automate VX 6.5 introduces AutoMeasure, using computer vision to automatically detect and configure camera and microphone positions during installation, removing the need for manual measurements. Crestron also announced expanded microphone compatibility and support for select Panasonic broadcast cameras.

For spaces that don’t require a full multi-camera system, the 1 Beyond i12D delivers intelligent speaker tracking and dynamic framing from a single device with three built-in 4K cameras and visual AI processing.

DM NAX Intelligent Audio

Rounding out the announcements is DM NAX Intelligent Audio, a network-first, PoE-based audio platform with distributed processing and validated room configurations, designed to minimise time to a working audio system while supporting AI-driven meeting features.

All of the newly announced technologies will be on show at the Integrated Systems Europe show, where visitors can see the full Crestron collaboration ecosystem in action on the Crestron stand.
