ClockAudio launches tracking intelligent microphone at InfoComm 2019

ClockAudio has released its TIM-1000 tracking intelligent microphone, designed for huddle rooms, conference rooms and videoconferencing facilities.

The TIM-1000 allows microphones within the space to track the user that is speaking, following the user in the room.

The microphone installs using dog legs, able to be installed in a drop ceiling or hard ceiling, with no programming or set up of different lobes being required, the TIM-1000 is capable of self-configuring in a space.

ClockAudio’s adaptive proximity technology (APT) is included, allowing TIM users to maintain a sound level for the user speaking, automatically compensating for the distance of the participant from the microphone while maintaining real-time audio capture.

The TIM-1000 features noise suppression, three band EQ and an RGB ring for visual room status.

The microphone is powered over Ethernet and uses API control via UDP commands with separate control and audio paths, available in custom Nextel colours.
