Christie is targeting mainstream theatres with the release of its CP4325-RGB pure laser cinema projector.
It features CineLife electronics and RealLaser illumination, comes in an “all-in-one” form factor and is DCI-compliant.
The projector is the first in a line of RGB pure laser projectors designed for mainstream cinema and is positioned as a replacement unit for theatres wishing to upgrade as well as new cinemas and retrofits.
Christie has removed the need for external cooling and the unit boasts an operational life of more than 30,000 hours with a 20% loss in brightness.
The CP4325-RGB has a contrast ratio of up to 6000:1 and can be integrated into standard cinema booths.
The unit is joined by a fibre-coupled projector: the CP42LH. Both products offer a wide colour gamut exceeding DCI P3 specifications, enhanced contrast ratios and high frame rates (HFR) compatibility. The CP4325-RGB features Christie’s CineLife Series 3 electronics and embedded cinema automation for playback, scheduling and content management.
