BenQ announces InstaShow USB-C connectivity
BenQ has announced that its wireless presentation platform, InstaShow, will now feature USB-C connectivity, adding wireless projection features to USB-C and Thunderbolt 3 devices including other PCs and MacBooks.
InstaShow’s USB-C configuration adds full HD 1080P video and 16-bit stereo audio wireless streaming capability to displayed devices, supporting source devices with USB-C over DisplayPort Alt mode capability such Macbooks or PCs without an HDMI output.
The USB-C button transmitter is compatible with previous InstaShow WDC10 receivers, allowing existing InstaShow configurations to add USB-C wireless projection.
InstaShow’s USB-C connectivity requires a single connection to the source laptop for both video and power, working with any OS or hardware platform without software or driver installation to the source device.
InstaShow also includes WPA2-PSK protection with 128-bit encryption.
