Videowall specialists Ultimate Visual Solutions (UVS) have confirmed a dedicated support package for clients using the Netpix series of videowall controllers after Leyard Europe announced it was discontinuing the range with immediate effect.
UVS has stepped in to offer reassurance now that the latest Netpix versions have become End of Production, subject to warranty support. UVS has supplied and installed Netpix videowall controller solutions to control room clients within the UK and internationally for 19 years.
It has installed hundreds of Netpix systems and continues to provide long term support for these systems, including annual maintenance contracts to clients, including telephone, remote (where available) and onsite support. UVS also has a full upgrade path available for Netpix users with its Lucidity videowall controllers and software.
UVS MD Steve Murphy said: “As part of our ongoing strategic planning for our business, and as we have continued to support and supply the Netpix solution for clients who still wanted to use it, UVS has always considered what contingency plans we would be able to offer to Netpix clients if production of the Netpix solution did not continue in the long term”.
Steve Murphy added: “We already have numerous clients who we have successfully transitioned from the Netpix video wall controller across to other videowall controller solutions, predominantly the UVS Lucidity videowall controller and software. UVS’s own Lucidity solution is ‘Made in Britain’ and totally developed, manufactured and supported in the UK by UVS.”
