The Namibian fund administrators, RFS Fund Administrators (RFS) underwent a comprehensive upgrade of its Windhoek headquarters, expanding its boardroom with a new AV and VC system.
Stage Audio Works Namibia was contracted by RFS directly to assist with the installation of the new boardroom, following a clear brief of the client’s expectations.
The existing boardroom had been enlarged to double its size and needed an upgraded system to handle conference calls and meetings of a whole new scale.
Clocking in at 84 m sq. and containing 20 seats, SAW Namibia specified a dual-screen room VC system with basic automation capabilities.
The upgraded boardroom is now home to two Samsung 85-in Crystal UHD 4K smart TVs with a conferencing system that boasts a Logitech TAP MS Teams base bundle, an Aver VC520 Pro2 conferencing camera and a Sennheiser Team Connect Ceiling Mic II.
Audio in the upgraded boardroom includes an Audac public address amplifier with Audac CIRA 824 QuickFit two-way eight-in ceiling speakers. An occupancy sensor and relays for lights provide automated control, while a Crestron 6x2 4K HDMI switcher enables device integration.
Udo Stehle, sales consultant, SAW Namibia, commented: “The chosen solution ensures ease of use for the employees of RFS, alongside clarity of sound both ways, through the Sennheiser TCC2 ceiling mic with its patented automatic dynamic beamforming microphones & Audac loudspeakers.
“Furthermore, the dual screens enhance visibility and ensure improved inclusion for RFS Teams meetings.”
