Sound Devices, manufacturer of pro audio equipment for broadcast and live event applications, has opened a European Service Centre in Berlin-Aldershof, a German science and technology park.
The repair facility in Berlin will offer European customers shorter turnaround times and lower shipping costs. Local users will also have closer contact with Sound Devices technicians.

The European Service Center is capable of providing all levels of repair for the full Sound Devices and Video Devices product ranges. In addition, the centre is in direct contact with all European distributors.
It is headed by Ginetta Fassio and employs qualified German electrical engineers, who have been trained at the Sound Devices corporate headquarters in Reedsburg, Wisconsin.
