Visualisation took centre stage in Munich on April 25 and 26 as RTT staged its yearly event that brings together partners and technologies from across the professional 3D visualisation market.
RTT partners Christie, Barco, NEC and Panasonic supported the event with hardware solutions throughout an exhibition space that was based on the product development chain: from design and development to marketing and sales.
RTT real-time visualisation solutions can be used throughout the entire product lifecycle, enabling data and graphics to be shared between design teams, engineering departments and marketing and sales professionals.
The event largely attracted end users from automotive and lifestyle industries and a handful of specialist integrators.
Christie demonstrated its 60Hz D4K2560 projector, boasting 4K resolution and fame rates of 60 fps.
New product was also spotted from Barco, in the form of its OBLX mounting solution set for release later this year. The product mounts four 55†or 46†panels with cabling discreetly and securely incorporated within the unit. When released, the OBLX will provide ClickShare access for a complete meeting and control solution.
Barco’s 4K Galaxy projector was also involved in a demonstration of streaming high definition content from the Höchstleitstungsrechenzentrum Universität Stuttgart (HLRS). Dr Uwe Wössner, head of the Visualisation Department at the university, showed how content streaming could allow design and engineering teams to book computing power from a remote location for real-time visualisation.
MultiTouch, interactive displays specialist which has recently partnered with RTT on two projects, also sponsored the event, showing off a display wall comprising three 55†MultiTaction Cells.
