Powersoft has released ArmoníaPlus 3.0, adding native macOS support for Apple Silicon and making its system management software available across Mac and Windows platforms for the first time.
Previously limited to Windows systems running on x64 hardware, ArmoníaPlus now uses the same interface, project structure, file formats and workflow across both supported platforms.
The change allows projects created on a Mac to be opened on a Windows machine without conversion, which Powersoft said is intended to simplify collaboration between system designers, integrators, rental companies and touring crews working across different hardware.
Alongside macOS support, version 3.0 introduces performance optimisation aimed particularly at large systems containing high numbers of amplifiers, loudspeakers and control elements.
Powersoft said the update reduces waiting times and improves responsiveness during system design, configuration, tuning and operation, with Interactive Tuning also reworked to respond more quickly during live adjustment.
Filippo Digiugno, R&D manager at Powersoft, said: “Bringing ArmoníaPlus to macOS has been one of the most frequently requested developments from our user base, and it mattered to us that the Mac version was the same software our users already know.”
He added: “We also owe a great deal to everyone who downloaded the release candidate over the summer and took the time to tell us what they found. Their feedback shaped the final build, which we’re delighted to release today.”
ArmoníaPlus 3.0 is available to download from Powersoft now.
