Panasonic pre-empts green regulation
Panasonic has made energy saving tweaks to its professional projector line-up in anticipation of European regulations to be enforced in 2010.

The EuP Lot 6 regulation for reduced stand-by power consumption means that, from January 2010, all new energy-using products will have to meet a standard upper limit of 0.9W consumption in standby mode.

Panasonic updated its LB series to meed the regulation. The PT-LB78V & PT-LB75V succeed previous models to bring the LB range in-line with the directive, while the newly launched PT-LB90 and PT-LB90NT models comply from launch.
