Organisers of PALME Middle East say this year's event will capitalise on the recovery of the local economy.
The professional sound, light, AV and system integration show runs from May 1 to 3 at the Dubai International Conference & Exhibition Centre.
Richard Brook, exhibition director, said the greatest boost to the show has come from the recovery in the local economy after the downturn in the construction boom.
"This is looking more optimistic now with a renewal of postponed projects coming back on line," he said. "The GCC region has recovered much more quickly than most."
Show organisers also cited a range of upcoming events in the region including the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Alongside the exhibition will be a full programme of collateral events — ‘Knowledge Forums’, incorporating workshops, training sessions and seminars. These will include the Middle East Pro Audio and Visual Seminars on May 3 and a three-day agenda of exhibitor-led sessions.
