Live 3D projections will take the stage at the NEC Solutions Showcase in London this month as NEC Display Solutions partners with Musion.
The event, taking place May 16 to 17, will see Musion’s Eyeliner “holographic” system use a 35k NEC laser projector to create a life-sized visualisation of a supercar in a mocked up car showroom. Live telepresence will also be shown with a 3D projected presenter.
As visitors as they enter the NEC Solutions Showcase they will also have a chance to see Musion’s EyeCandy technology coupled with NEC laser projection in a London Underground simulation.
Ian O’Connell, director at Musion, said: “Holographic technology offers a very cost-effective way to generate excitement and engage with audiences at live events.
“With new high bright laser projection, the results are stunning with incredible visualisation even where the ambient light is high. This has opened up many more applications and we are seeing huge interest for retail showrooms, for product launches, design simulation, CEO addresses and even supporting political campaigns.”
The NEC Solutions Showcase will take place at Victoria House in Holborn.
