A 25m videowall installed in a luxury shopping centre in Paris utilises a mirrored surface to conceal 40 screens and display subtle graphics on a sleek, minimal surface. The concept was designed by Ora Ito, an acclaimed French designer, and created by French agency emenco. It was installed in Les Quartiers at Paris's La Madeleine shopping and leisure complex with technical integration handled by Cofely Ineo.
The HD videowall is updated in realtime to deliverinformation and localised news to shoppers and patrons of La Madeleine.
Two Ventuz servers power the installation using AMD FireProW900 graphics boards and synchronisation is handled by AMD S400 synch boards.
