L-ISA system empowers listening at Philharmonie de Paris children’s complex
The Philharmonie de Paris complex in Paris has created a new children’s philharmonic complex, the Philmaronie des enfants, designed for children aged four to ten to develop hearing sensitivity through interactive games and immersive sound installations.

One of these spaces, Plein les oreilles! (Earfuls!) utilises  L-Acoustics L-ISA immersive Hyperreal Sound technology and 360-degree video projection from floor to ceiling.

Plein les oreilles! Uses fully-spatialised sound via L-ISA technology, comprised of X series and Syva Low loudspeakers, with 62 models installed in three horizontal layers. These loudspeakers are distributed behind soundproof fabric screens around the walls, ceiling and on the floor of the 40 square metre space.

Eight X8 loudspeakers are mounted around the top of the walls with three X8s evenly spaced across the centre of the ceiling.

An additional 20 X8s are positioned halfway down the walls, with a ring of twelve X8s and 10 Syva subs at the base of the walls.

Eight X4is form an evenly spaced grid on the floor, with a L-ISA processofr providing advanced object-based mixing for pre-recorded content.
