Integrated Systems Events has signed a new five year contract with the Amsterdam RAI, securing the ISE’s position in the city until at least 2016.
At a press conference held on Tuesday at the RAI, the RAI and ISE formalised the agreement, and confirmed dates for ISE for the next five years. The dates are listed below, and confirm that the show will remain a three day event for at least until 2016.
ISE 2012 – January 31st – February 2nd
ISE 2013 – January 29th – 31st
ISE 2014 – February 4th – 6th
ISE 2015 – February 3rd – 5th
ISE 2016 – February 2nd – 4th
Also announced at the conference was that in 2013 ISE has reserved all the halls at the RAI. 2012 will see the event occupy all of them except for hall 8.
The organisers also laid out plans to continue to deliver visitor growth, pointing out that ISE is unusual amongst trade shows in that visitor growth continues to outstrip exhibitor growth.
Increased editorial content including more pre-show conferences, more InfoComm and CEDIA training, and improved use of video and social media are all targeted as means of drawing the crowds.
ISE managing director Mike Blackman also announced plans to expand the show’s buyer and end user promotions in to new territories such as Italy and Scandinavia.
