ISE has announced highlights that can be found on the show floor of ISE 2025, identifying key opportunities and experiences for visitors on the show floor.
With more than 1,600 exhibitors across a 92,000 m² show floor, attendees will be able to experience immersive performances, interactive displays, as well as networking opportunities and insights from industry leaders.
South Access Welcome Screen
The 193 m² LED screen at the south access of the Fira Gran Via will aim to provide helpful information during the show, with the interactive and immersive content on the transparent LED screen developed by Real Time Department. The screen will also playing host to performances over three evenings, blending technology and creativity. On Tuesday 4th February, Italian digital artist Quayola will showcase “Promenade”, a performance that ISE reports will set the tone for a week of artistry and innovation. Quayola will also deliver the creative keynote at ISE 2025.
Wednesday 5th February will see “Evolution Unbound”, a performance delivered by ISE 2024’s keynote speaker, Jeroen van der Most. The show will explore how technologies such as AI are accelerating humanity towards an “unbound and fluid future”. This performance has been developed specifically for the Fira entrance screen, with the aim of challenging perceptions of creativity and innovation.
Thursday 6th February’s performance, titled “A Tiny Bead of Pure Life”, will be delivered by art director and artist, Alice Labourel. Known for fusing visual storytelling and new technologies, Labourel’s piece will be featured as part of the Llum BCN 25 lights art festival, bringing a close to the series of performances.
Each of these artistic showcases will begin at 1830 after the show floor has closed, highlighting the synergy of technology and creativity.
Robotics and drone arena
Located in Hall 8.1 and covering nearly 700 m², the robotics and drone arena will showcase the latest advancements in robotics and drone technology. Curated by Lang, this space will host a daily programmed with opportunities to explore the latest innovations. Attendees can witness live demonstrations, immerse themselves in interactive exhibits, and discover the potential of robotics and drones across a range of industries.
The arena will feature humanoid robot models G1 and Go2 as well as the Go2-W robotic dog. A new pilot experience by DJI will also allow attendees to control first-person-view (FPV) drones through an obstacle course using special goggles, while Lang’s Laslo Rudolph will discuss the role of drones in the event industry, providing insights into the practical applications of drones.
Event drone company VergeAero will showcase the capabilities of its new X7 drones, flying a cluster of five drones to demonstrate their software capabilities. Additionally, students from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia will create a work of drone art, with the artwork being produced ins tages throughout the week. Flock Drone Art will also present an indoor show featuring LiteBee drones.
UniFy will also demonstrate its light show drones and/or aerial robotic drones.
Startups
ISE’s innovation park will showcase a diverse range of startups presenting the latest advancements in audiovisual technology, smart building solutions, and more. The innovation park will feature a pitching stage, a vibrant platform for emerging businesses to share their ideas. The stage will feature dynamic pitch sessions running throughout all four days of the show.
ISE 2025 will also play host to its inaugural Hackathon, bringing student teams from prestigious institutions including EASE, UPC, UPF, Bocconi University, HEC, and La Salle, where finalists will compete for the ISE Hackathon trophy.
The competition will see the finalists face real-world challenges across three key tracks, with cybersecurity, sponsored by Hikvision, sustainability, sponsored by PPDS, and innovation, sponsored by EIT.
The Hackathon will begin at 0800 on Thursday 6 February and will conclude on Friday 7 February, with project presentations at 1200 on the pitching stage in Congress Square, followed by an awards ceremony at 1500 to announce the winning teams and projects.
