InfoComm International will exhibit at a UK building services tradeshow, underlining the importance of AV in construction.
The industry body will set up its stand at Birmingham’s NEC October 18 to 19 at the BEST building services event.
Chris Lavelle, InfoComm’s regional manager for the UK and Ireland, said the show would provide a platform for InfoComm to demonstrate the importance of using CTS-accredited professionals to carry out system design and installation work.
He continued: “Within the AV industry, the advantages of a fully integrated audiovisual system are well understood and appreciated. Beyond it, however, there is a need to communicate the benefits of AV to a wider audience, starting with the people who plan the buildings into which AV is installed: architects, building designers and consultants. By taking a stand at BEST, we are reaffirming our commitment to ‘spreading the word’ about the benefits of AV beyond the confines of our own industry.”
