Harman appoints Hamid Soufian VP and general manager of EMEA
Harman Professional Solutions has announced Hamid Soufian has been appointed vice president and general manager of EMEA.

Soufian brings more than 18 years of experience in the Harman organisation to his new role. As VP and general manager of EMEA for the Harman Professional Solutions division, Soufian will draw on his expertise to form critical new partnerships, strengthen long-term relationships with distributors, customers, and employees; and drive growth in the region.

Prior to his new appointment, Soufian was the VP and GM responsible for multiple European automotive customer accounts forging new relationships and enhancing existing partnerships with the OEMs, considerably growing the sales revenues and pipeline across Harman's products in Connected Car, Car Audio and Connected Services.  In 2014, Soufian was the Senior Director & General Manager of HARMAN International, where he set up and oversaw the Volvo Consumer Business Unit as it is today.
