Finnish rap star Pyhimys put on a three-hour show at Helsinki’s Ice Hall, harnessing Green Hippo media servers to deliver stunning visuals.
Using graphics to take the audience on a journey through time, a Hippotizer Boreal+ media server was programmed and operated by Visual45, displaying visuals on a semi-transparent upstage LED screen made up of ROE Vanish8 panels.
Two smaller IMAG screens are present on stage left and right, consisting of ROE MC9 displays. These IMAG screens were primarily used for live feeds.
The back screen was raised to reveal Pyhimys before being lowered down into place to display the graphics created by Visual 45.
Varpu Sipilä, operations manager, Visual45, commented: “We were asked to design Pyhimys’s concert last year, and it was supposed to happen in autumn 2021 to both mark his 20th anniversary and his 40th birthday.
“The Boreal+ was a good interface to busk with, controlled by our grandMA2 console.”
