Integrator 4Business has delivered a comprehensive AV system to the Bon Vivant superyacht, deploying Genelec loudspeakers to the 49 metre-long superyacht.
4Business was tasked with delivering a reliable, stand-alone AV system which could be easily operated by the superyacht’s crew. A centralised matrix with automated logic controls with all technical equipment required to be hidden discreetly without compromising on sonic clarity.
The Bon Vivant’s upper deck (lounge and bridge), middle deck (saloon, gym, multi-functional room/office and master cabin) and the lower deck (made up exclusively of bedrooms). These rooms were fitted with Genelec AIC25 in-ceiling loudspeaker models, forming the backbone of the installation. The AIC25s blend in with the room décor without compromising on audio quality.
The master cabin incorporates five AIC25s in the ceiling with a 5041A subwoofer hidden seamlessly in the wall to manage the low end. The en-suite bathroom also features a pair of AIC25s to bring quality audio to the bathroom experience.
The Bon Vivant’s VIP cabin features two AIC25s with a 735OA subwoofer and a singular AIC25 in the bathroom.
Each of the remaining bedrooms are equipped with a pair of AIC25s.
The upper lounge is also equipped with five AIC25s, with the main saloon outfitted with six AIW25 in-wall models for additional coverage.
Control across the yacht was achieved via a Control4 system, featuring an interface which connects to smart devices to provide overriding management of the system’s Sonos port players alongside a Symetrix DSP processor and matrix which connect all individual areas.
