Integrated Systems Europe is celebrating a “record breaking show†claiming visitor numbers of 28,489 at the Amsterdam event.
Organisers said the 2010 event, held at the Amsterdam RAI February 2-4, attracted more attendees than any other show in the event’s seven year history. The total represents a 14.4 per cent increase from last year’s total of 24,912.
Mike Blackman, managing director of Integrator Systems Events, said he was “delighted” with the show.
Pauline Brooksbank, managing director at image-processing company Calibre UK enjoyed the show’s “relaxed environment” and said “what’s good is that the bigger stands are split across the halls, so it’s easy to get around”.
First-time exhibitor Baldwin Boxall confirmed it would be rebooking for 2010. The company’s Nick Baldwin said: “Everyone who visited us expressed real interest and the show has been very successful for us”.
The education sessions, organised by CEDIA and InfoComm International, also saw strong attendance figures.
Blackman was already looking to the 2011 as he concluded: “Our task now is to consult with our exhibitors, consider the best ways in which to capitalise on our growth opportunities, and come up with a 2011 show which keeps both ISE and the industry it serves on an upward trajectory.”
