Electrosonic has followed news of a split between its products and integration businesses, announcing True Colours Distribution as UK distributor for its products.
True Colours Distribution will work with the newly formed products division to sell Electrosonic’s range of HD media players, multi-image display processors and video and graphics over IP encoders and decoders.
Iain Campbell, sales and marketing director at True Colours, said: “This deal is slightly different to a usual vendor announcement because the Electrosonic Group also operates system integration business, a potential competitor to many of our customers. However, the product division of Electrosonic is now a wholly separate entity to the systems integration business so there will be no conflict of interest with our customers. Electrosonic Systems will operate on equal competitive terms when pursuing opportunities developed through True Colours marketing efforts.â€
Rob Shaw, channel manager at Electrosonic Products Division, added: “We aspire to see our products become broadly available across the UK and we are sure that True Colours will make our products more accessible to resellers.â€
