Clear-Com technology formed the communications backbone for Coachella and Stagecoach 2025, connecting production teams across 12 stages and supporting global livestreams.
The deployment, managed by Azuolas Sinkevicius of Media Stream Wave, showcased the latest EHX v14 configuration software alongside FreeSpeak II beltpacks and an Eclipse HX-Omega matrix frame.

The scale of the operation required precise coordination across dozens of departments, with over 61 FreeSpeak II beltpacks in use by technical leads, stage managers and comms operators. Sixteen FreeSpeak II IP transceivers were positioned around the festival grounds to ensure uninterrupted wireless coverage, while 23 IVC-32 IP-connected panels gave operators access across compounds and stages.

At the core of the system, the Eclipse HX-Omega matrix was equipped with EHX v14 software, two E-IPA 64-port licences for IP scalability, a MADI card for audio routing integration, and three MVX16 analogue interface cards to support legacy and third-party systems. The infrastructure connected seamlessly with broadcast trucks and remote teams managing livestream delivery.
“Even with multiple stages and changing artist line-ups every hour, Clear-Com performed exactly the way you hope it will, quietly, reliably, and transparently,” said Sinkevicius.

EHX v14, which introduces faster configuration workflows and enhanced usability for dynamic systems, was put to the test in the desert and delivered flawless performance throughout the three-weekend festival run.

“The scale of this deployment is a great example of what our EHX platform and FreeSpeak II beltpacks can accomplish in large-scale live environments,” added Vic Lombardi, regional sales manager at Clear-Com.
