Clear-Com intercom systems have been deployed at Itaka Arena in Opole, Poland, supporting communications across the stadium’s broadcast, production and venue operations.
The installation was delivered in collaboration with Commercial Audio, Clear-Com’s regional partner and a distributor and integrator of professional audio systems in Poland.
At the centre of the deployment is Clear-Com’s Arcadia Central Station, which combines matrix functionality and user control in a scalable platform. The system is supported by FreeSpeak II wireless beltpacks, providing coverage across key operational areas including broadcast compounds, tunnels, locker rooms and the pitch.

The system has been designed for football matches, concerts and large-scale events, enabling production teams, commentators and technical crews to coordinate across multiple zones of the venue.
Krzysztof Borowicz of Commercial Audio said the communications infrastructure was designed to be “as flexible and reliable as the events it hosts.” He added that Arcadia’s onboard AoIP Dante card enables rapid integration with venue audio systems, consoles and OB trucks.

Strategically placed antennas provide wireless coverage across the field, player tunnels and production areas. The system also integrates with commentator positions, allowing announcers and production staff to communicate during live events.
Itaka Arena opened in 2025 and seats almost 12,000 spectators. The project reflects growing demand for integrated communications systems in modern stadiums, where coordination between broadcast, venue and technical teams is critical to event delivery.

John Ruest, regional sales manager for Nordics and CEE at Clear-Com, said: “Modern venues demand more than just performance, they require precision communication at every level.”
