Biamp Systems has opened a service center in Mumbai, India furthering its commitment to serve the region. The facility will provide service and repairs to under warranty products being used in the country. Effective immediately, Biamp Systems customers in India will no longer need to ship their Biamap products out of country to access their warranty claims.
Robin Ghose, SAARC regional manager at Biamp Systems, said regarding the move: “The emergence of the Indian marketplace in the audio space creates several exciting opportunities.†He continues: “As we continue to invest in the region, our focus is on developing infrastructures that facilitate first-rate customer service. Opening an in-country service center is a natural extension for the growth of our Indian sales team.â€
The facility in Mumbai, India will be managed by a team of Biamp application engineers and will aim to meet the service quality and automated testing offered at Bianp’s Oregon, USA headquarters.
Martin Bonsoir, EMEIA application engineering manager for Biamp Systems, said regarding the quality levels they hope to maintain: “It was extremely important that the India service center offer quality on par to the service center at our headquarters in Oregon.†He added: “Our Indian customers can now concentrate on creating outstanding communication solutions with our equipment, knowing they have access to an additional support channel from Biamp.â€
