Ashton Bentley technology has been deployed in six upgraded meeting rooms at Halkin Mainframe, a flexible workspace in central London.
The project combines Zoom Rooms with bring-your-own-device (BYOD) functionality, using Ashton Bentley BX USB-C Breakout Hubs supplied and integrated by Tateside.
The installation supports a dual setup, with Neat Board Pro systems running Zoom Rooms alongside the BX hubs, which allow users to connect their own devices and switch to platforms such as Teams, Webex or Google Meet without disrupting the native Zoom experience.

Halkin Mainframe, located in a reimagined historic building, offers private offices, coworking areas, breakout zones and an event space. Its meeting rooms are central to the offer, with the operator aiming to provide tenants and guests with versatile and intuitive AV systems.
Jack Cornish, technical director at Tateside, said reliability was a key factor in specifying the Ashton Bentley hubs: “The BX has proven to be a great piece of kit that delivers what, on the face of it, appears to be a simple task - yet this is exactly where many of the more supposedly cost-effective hubs have let us down.”

The discreet, under-desk units offer secure USB-C connectivity, automated switching, and consistent power delivery, designed to cope with the demands of hotdesking and shared workspaces.
