Arivia has developed a prototype drone design that floats and streams light, water and sound in high tech fountain environments with fleets of synchronised aquatic drones that shoot out water while playing music.
Designed and manufactured by Spaceone Fukushima, each drone features a spherical, above-surface section as well as a cylindrical underwater section, and a disc-shaped flotation ring in the middle. The drone is capable of moving across the water’s surface via four underwater thrusters, giving the drone propulsion in any direction.
A fountain pump and an adjustable nozzle are included, with RBG LEDs, and an audio playback unit, as well as a GPS navigation system, a camera, and a Wi-Fi module.
Multiple drones can be arranged into fleets to synchronise movements across bodies of water, autonomously performing in preprogrammed water, light, and music shows. Each individual drone can be manually controlled remotely when required.
Utilizing this setup, fleets of multiple drones can reportedly synchronize their movements across bodies of water such as harbors, lakes or pools, autonomously performing preprogrammed water, light and music shows as they do so. Individual drones can also be manually remotely controlled if needed.
