AC-ET is partnering with Sennheiser and Shure in an effort to support the UK’s wireless microphone users as the digital switchover approaches.
The dedicated 2012 digital switchover open days, held November 10 and 15, are designed to provide advice on preparation for the switch to Channel 38 (606-614 MHz).
A.C. Audio, a distributor of wireless microphone and IEM equipment brands, will hold the free events at AC-ET’s UK offices. The first event is run in conjunction with Sennheiser at the company’s High Wycombe office on November 10. This will be followed with an open day, in partnership with Shure, at the Leeds office on November 15.
Both days will feature an in-depth digital switchover Q&A session by members of the BEIRG committee and demonstrations of the manufacturers' new Channel 38 compliant equipment, as well as showcasing other brand ranges distributed by Sennheiser and Shure.
In addition to the open days, the Audio section of the AC-ET web site provides a resource for the latest information and answers to frequently asked questions regarding the 2012 digital switchover.
