Iran's Ministry of Sciences, Research and Technology has added a new 100 seat conference hall to one of its facilities. Anna Mitchell reports.
The Fars Science and Technology Park, run by Iran’s Ministry of Sciences, Research and Technology, recently expanded with a new conference hall. The park is based in Shiraz, one of the largest scientific cities in Iran, and aims to increase the number of knowledge-based SMEs in the region.
Iranian integrator Ava Nama Co. was brought in to manage the AV installation within the conference hall.
“The project started at the beginning of September 2014,†explains Hadi Nezhad, commercial manager at the company. At this point the interior of the building was about half complete and Ava Nama was able to begin cabling works in the hall and control room. The timeframe for the installation was quite tight with complete installation and tests scheduled for October 12, 2014.
Ava Nama turned to Gestton for a digital conference system to serve the hall, which is dome shaped and nearly 250 square metres in size. The area has two entrance and two exit doors and the central area has a diagonal measurement of 16 metres with a ceiling height of nearly 15 metres.
Full details of the system installed can be read in InAVate magazine. Access the online version now. If you are not already registered then follow the quick sign up for your free subscription and immediate access to this article and the InAVate archive. Tech Spec Audio AKG wireless microphones
