Extron introduces 4K/60 two input transmitter
Extron has released its DTP2 T 202 FB, a two-input transmitter that can send DisplayPort or HDMI, audio and control up to 100 metres over a shielded CATx cable to a DTP-enabled product.
Designed as a floor box mounting product, the transmitter is compatible with OBO Bettermann, MK, Electraplan and PUK products, with support for 4K/60 at 4:4:4 chroma sampling, complying with HDCP 2.2.
Analogue stereo audio embedding is included, as well as assignment of the stereo analogue audio input, EDID Minder technology and automatic switching between inputs.
The DTP2 T 202 FB can also be configured to send video and embedded audio, as well as bidirectional RS-232 and IR signals to an HDBaseT enabled display and can also be configured to provide power to the connected DTP2 reciver to allow both devices to share one power supply.
