Meyer Sound has announced a series of online professional audio training tutorials as an extension of the company’s worldwide education programme.
These one-hour webinars are offered free-of-charge and give sound professionals an alternative resource for audio education, regardless of where they are located.
The first series of webinars focuses on establishing a solid foundation in the use of the Meyer Sound MAPP Online Pro acoustical prediction program, covering topics that include “Using Visual Aids,” “Inputting a CAD drawing,” and “Flown, Ground-Stacked, and Horizontal Arrays.” By exchanging real-time with the instructor, attendees learn to apply the advanced software features in a variety of system design scenarios, and develop a working knowledge of coverage pattern prediction, frequency response, impulse response, and more.
“As our education program grows, we continue to seek new ways to reach more candidates who can benefit from our instructors’ wealth of knowledge and experience,” says Gavin Canaan, Meyer Sound’s education program manager. “These webinars give attendees a solid grounding of audio topics that are essential for creating sound systems of any size or for moving on to more advanced training in our education program.”
Two webinars on October 19 and 21 are open for registration. To sign up or to learn more about Meyer Sound’s education program, please visit the link below:
