Vitec is now shipping its MGW D265 portable HEVC (H.265) IP decoder that was showcased at InfoComm 2015 alongside the company's hardware-based HEVC encoding appliance - the MGW Ace.
MGW D265 is a portable unit that supports rapid deployment of video links in conjunction with the MGW Ace HEVC hardware encoder. It allows users to receive legacy H.264 streams and decode and playout HEVC content.
