Symetrix will unveil its Cognio audio, video, and control platform at ISE 2026, designed to simplify system design, accelerate deployment, and deliver scalable AV experiences.
Cognio will debut at ISE 2026, combining conde-free control into a single platform powered by DesignOps. A single device can be used to power multiple spaces, or multiple devices can support a single space, allowing systems to scale naturally across rooms, buildings, or entire campuses.
Cognio features a patented, wire-free design approach using DesignOps software, allowing designers to place processing modules in sequence rather than manually drawing signal paths. Cognio automatically connecting them and maintaining the routing logic behind the scenes.
Users can add, remove, or rearrange modules, while the signal flow adapts to eliminate visual clutter, reduce errors, and reduce design time.
The system’s distributed architecture allows each connected device to share a common firmware foundation, enabling signal processing, AVoIP Dante audio, control, and web-based access to exist throughout the system, not just in a centralised processor.
Cognio features pre-hardware system emulation, with its firmware running directly on the DesignOps computer, generating real digital audio through the design so that indicators move, signal paths can be validated, and issues can be identified early.
With a no-code control interface builder, AV professionals can create polished user experiences without external graphics tools or custom programming.
Vector-based interface elements scale across devices, while a built-in theme system allowing integrators to apply branding, colours, and styles instantly, while also reusing these assets across projects, customers, or vertical markets.
Design Mode is available to allow users to build and edit systems, while its Operation Mode enables real-time monitoring, logging, and diagnostics across the entire site.
