Neutrik has debuted its powerCON XX series power connectors, fitted with circuit breaking capability to comply with the latest worldwide device safety regulations for mains supply connectors.
The powerCON XX offers two models: The NAC3FXXA/B-W-S supports cables of 6 to 12mm, with the NAC3FFXXA/B-W-L supporting 10 to 16mm diameter cables.
The connectors power-in and power-out keying to prevent the intermating of power cables, using a twist locking system.
The connectors are compliant with IEC62368-1, IEC60799 or UL817 device standards for the EU, UK, US and Canada respectively, meeting global safety regulations for mains power connectors in accordance with IEC/EN/UL/CSA 60320-1.
Certification for IEC/EN/UL/CSA 60320-1 allows the connectors to be used as components for cord sets according to IEC 60799 and UL817, as well as for other equipment according to IEC 62368-1.
