March Networks has unveiled its X series hybrid recorders, designed to support AI applications with Nvidia system-on-chip (SoC) technology.
The X series is a hybrid platform, supporting a mix of analogue, HD, analogue and IP channels, available in 16, 24, 32, 48 and 64 channel configurations.
A dedicated AI engine and SoC technology from Nvidia is also included, shipping preconfigured with March Networks’ video management software to support add-on applications such as facial recognition, object detection, classification and search which are due to launch later in 2021.
A customised and embedded Linux OS is provided, with a new configuration tool to allow users to set up recorders.
An embedded WiFi dongle is provided to allow for connection to March Networks’ Guru smartphone app, allowing technicians to check a recorder’s warranty status, access in-field diagnostics and on-site wireless provisioning.
