Lumens Digital Optics has announced a new integration with Televic’s D-Cerno digital discussion system, enabling automated multi-camera production in hybrid meeting environments.
The partnership brings together Lumens’ CamConnect Pro and Televic’s D-Cerno 2.0, allowing multiple IP cameras to track speakers and automatically switch to the best viewing angle. The system is designed to enhance engagement for both local and remote participants by ensuring that each presenter remains in focus.
Steven Liang, head of product development at Lumens, said the integration offers “TV-like production values with no need for a dedicated operator or broadcast-style video switcher.”
Running on a local IP network, CamConnect Pro outputs video via HDMI and USB, and integrates with third-party conferencing platforms. For installers, setup is designed to be straightforward: CamConnect connects directly to the Televic network without additional programming or dedicated video cabling, while camera positions and angles can be configured through a built-in interface or browser-based tools.
According to the companies, the joint solution reduces installation time and operational costs while supporting flexible deployments across council chambers, boardrooms, auditoriums, and classrooms.
Richard Cazin, general manager of Televic Conference France, said the partnership reflects the “complementarity” of the two brands and continues a long-standing collaboration, which has already seen Lumens PTZ cameras integrated with Televic’s T-CAM application in projects worldwide.
