Lightware has announced that its Taurus Switch series can now integrate with Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows, incorporating BYOD functionality.
Designed for system integrators, IT professionals and corporate users, the integration enables improved BYOD functionality and room control capabilities for Teams meeting spaces.
The integration allows users to integrate their personal laptops with the room’s meeting system, enabling content to be shared alongside access to lighting, projector, and shade controls from one control panel.
Taurus switchers extend connectivity options, permitting the use of multiple source inputs and adding USB peripheral support. Other enhancements include integrated laptop charging and Ethernet connectivity.
The Lightware Companion app can also be used on a Microsoft Teams Rooms PC, working within Lightware Advanced Room Control to bring additional functions to improve meeting room capabilities, validated for use by a range of manufacturers including Lenovo, Poly, Logitech, Yealink, and Barco.
