LD Systems has expanded its MAUI family with the MAUI 5 that combines sound reinforcement and monitoring.
It provides 800 watts of peak power and weighs less than 11kg. A ported 8-in subwoofer and three-piece column PA is designed for wide dispersion, extended vertical directivity and good feedback resistance and it has custom multipin connectors for cableless assembly.
MAUI 5 incorporates a 4-channel mixer with LD Systems' LECC digital processing, Bluetooth technology and microphone, line level and hi-Z inputs which can be used simultaneously. Individual level controls, subwoofer and master volumes are provided and it has built-in Class D amplification.
