L-Acoustics has updated its LA Network Manager as well as its LA4 and LA8 firmware with a release pack and updated documentation available for download now.
Firmware 2.0.0.2 includes audio available within nine seconds after power is turned on and output delay extended to 680 ms per channel.
LA8 now comes with both LA8 and LA4 presets onboard and the routing (input selection) for the output channels can be set from the preset parameters menu.
LA Network Manager 2.1.0.1 is now compatible with Windows 9 and an L-COM network engine allows fast detection of units and improved protocol of data transfer.
It also includes enhanced contour EQ: zoom factor with wide range and fine steps, eight IIR filters with Q factor up to 40.
A universal firmware package is included with auto-detection of unit type for facilitated firmware update process.
Preset library 3.0 simplifies the preset structure and integrates LA4 presets [5XT], [KILO], [KIVA_SB15], [SB15_100] and [SB15_100_ C].
