Kramer has introduced a range of labelled USB-C cables, designed to eliminate the guesswork for integrators and users.
The new 3.2 Gen 2 USB-C cables feature icons that indicate their ability to support video, data and charging. The cables provide bi-directional plug-and-play connectivity for the delivery of 4K@60 4:4:4 video, data transfer between PC, Mac and mobile compatible devices and monitors, web cameras, printers, scanners, keyboards and other devices.
The cables include Kramer’s K-lock connectivity, featuring transfer rates of up to 10Gbps (between USB 3.2 hosts and devices), as well as 100W power (5A, 20V) charging to maintain powered devices. The K-lock connectors offer up to 2.26 kilos of pull resistance against being accidentally disconnected, with the cables consisting of micro coaxial wires with triple shielding to prevent electromagnetic interference.
USB backward compatibility between USB 1.0, 1.1, 2.0 and 3.0 is supported, and is RoHS Reach compliant, with available lengths of 1.8, 3 and 4.6 metres respectively.
