Jetbuilt adds AI-powered design tool to accelerate AV system workflows
Jetbuilt has launched Recommend, a new feature within its platform designed to speed up early-stage AV system design using its Jetbot AI engine.

Recommend enables integrators to generate equipment lists and system configurations based on project requirements, reducing the time needed to build initial designs. Users can input high-level project descriptions or define specific spaces, such as meeting rooms or racks, and the system will suggest appropriate products, quantities and layouts.

The feature is powered by Jetbot, Jetbuilt’s proprietary AI engine trained on AV design practices, integration standards and product documentation. Rather than generating designs from scratch, the system draws on previous project data, prioritising products and approaches already used by a company to maintain consistency across projects.

Paul Dexter, CEO and founder of Jetbuilt, said: “Recommend allows teams to generate a baseline using the products and methods they already rely on, then refine it to meet the specific needs of the project.”

The platform can also generate a full bill of materials, apply labour and structure the project within Jetbuilt, allowing users to move directly from concept to proposal without manual data entry. Designers can then refine the output either manually or by prompting the AI to make adjustments, such as changing equipment types or quantities.

Jetbuilt says the system is designed to reduce repetitive setup work and improve consistency, particularly for integrators managing large volumes of projects with limited engineering resources.

Recommend integrates directly into Jetbuilt’s wider workflow, enabling users to progress from design to pricing, proposals and project management within a single environment.
