G&D will bring a portfolio of KVM products to IBC 2022, offering products for the broadcast and eSports markets.
The VisionXS KVM-over-IP extender will be showcased, featuring 10G data transmission technology with resolutions of up to 4K.
The extender includes G&D’s bluedec video compression feature, as well as an “IP-MUX” integrated switch functionality which allows one console device to manage multiple target IP addresses from up to 20 computer sources without additional hardware.
PersonalWorkspace-Controller
G&D will also highlight its PersonalWorkspace-Controller, capable of displaying multiple screens on one single monitor in broadcast environments. This system enables users to keep track of all content without additional monitors, using a multiviewer tool to display up to 26 video sources, all controlled and displayed on one single screen.
The PersonalWorkplace-Controller can also be used to display sources on a large videowall, with an image quality of up to 4K60.
For hybrid infrastructures, virtual content can be integrated by the PersonalWorkplace-Controller alongside physical sources.
eSports
G&D will also demonstrate how KVM approaches can be used in gaming environments for both producers and gamers in eSports environments, offering high frame rates of up to 240 HZ/s.
Visitors can see how producers can access various sources in real time via frame rate conversion to make the various signals available for viewers on a videowall or in streams in scaled form.
IBC 2022 will take place from 9-12 September at the RAI Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
