d&b audiotechnik has launched its CCLi compact cardioid line array, featuring a dedicated feature set tailored for fixed applications.
The CCLi system offers broadband directivity control down to 60Hz, featuring low-frequency cardioid behaviour to focus acoustic energy onto an intended audience area to reduce unwanted low-frequency reflections from the side and rear walls, minimising reverberation in acoustically challenging areas.
CCLi is designed for install applications is available in 80 and 120-degree horizontal dispersion models, the CCLi8 and CCLi12 respectively. Both models feature a new front grille integrated with less visible rigging elements, side panels that replace the CCL handles with flushed side grilles, and an optional Phoenix Euroblock connector panel with a sealed cable gland.
The system package includes a range of matching subwoofers, including a dedicated flying subwoofer, the CCLi-SUB, and a new Bi12 multipurpose passive cardioid ground subwoofer designed for installations.
