Black Box will unveil its ZeroU DVI transmitter, MCX multimedia management system and its remote app for Black Box Emerald Unified KVM platform
The Emerald ZeroU DVI transmitter for Black Box’s Emerald Unified KVM platform works with the Emerald SE receiver, supporting full HD DVI video up to 1920x1200, requiring less than 40 Mbps of bandwidth for 1080p video.
The transmitter can also be managed by Boxilla.
Black Box is also debuting its MCX multimedia distribution and management system for the first time in Europe at the show, taking advantage of SDVoE and 10 GbE infrastructure to allow AV data payloads to exist on the same IT networks.
The multimedia management system features instantaneous switching and accelerates the process of consolidating AV and data on a single network.
The remote app for the Emerald Unified KVM platform will also make its European debut at the show, allowing authorised users to gain remote access to one or more sources – PCs, servers or virtual machines across an Emerald KVM network.
The app supports multiple simultaneous connections and performance for HD video up to 45 fps, with authentication against the Boxilla KVM network manager.
As the remote app is not tethered to a fixed location, users can access the Emerald KVM network from anywhere using computers or laptops.
