Barco reveals plans for ClickShare and additions to TruePix LED at InfoComm

Barco will use the Microsoft Device Ecosystem platform to develop future ClickShare products, harnessing the Android-based platform’s security and IT-friendly functionality.

At InfoComm 2024, Barco is showing off the latest innovations in its ClickShare product with smart camera and audio switching designed to offer more inclusivity to remote meeting participants.

At the show, held in Las Vegas June 12 to 14, Barco will demonstrate how the AI-powered capability switches between the room view and the close-up views of the speakers, depending on the dynamics of the in-room conversation. This way, remote users get a better view of the group discussion and non-verbal cues, leading to a more equitable meeting experience. This new concept will be released in 2025.

Barco is also presenting Smart Meeting Flows, a set of intent-based features designed to ensure an even more inclusive meeting experience for local participants. PresentSense is ultrasound proximity detection that allows users to connect to the meeting room when they walk in with their laptop. HostFlow automatically guides users as a host or participant at the start of a video meeting. ConferenceView shows content and people side by side on the meeting room display.

Also on the Barco stand (C5309) is the TP-I family of indoor LED videowall products, the latest additions to Barco’s TruePix portfolio.

The product is suited to multiple applications including control rooms, simulation, home entertainment and corporate lobbies.

The TruePix I-range extends the line up with a 1.2 mm (available now) and 0.9 mm (available from Q4 2024 onwards) product, as well as respective TAA compliant versions.

TP-I has brightness levels exceeding 1,000 nits (and 2,300 nit peak brightness) and an Infinipix Gen2 processor.

This improvement in brightness level is mainly due to the flip chip and common cathode technology introduced in TruePix TP-I.

Barco has reduced power consumption of TP-I products by more than 45%, which has also reduced radiated heat.
