Avolites has launched its media previewing and encoding software, Prism Player, the first product in Avolites’ Prism product range.
Prism Player can work as an auxiliary tool to the Avolites Ai video software platform, including a user interface designed to provide accessibility for new video designers and operators, capable of previewing and encoding media clips without connecting to a server or Ai application.
Video clips in common video formats can be encoded into the AiM codec to be loaded into the server, with playback for up to 16 layers of 4K content. Rendered content can also be previewed without uploading to a server, including a playlist function to preview pieces of content together for a show or project.
The HAP codec is also supported, allowing clips from other servers to be previewed and transcoded for use in Ai. Clips can be encoded in batches to save time.
