Audio-Technica launched its AT8657/LED table-mount microphone adapter at InfoComm 2014 to add functionality to quick-mount gooseneck mics.
The tool is suitable for use with the company’s Engineered Sound, Unipoint and ProPoint installation mic ranges and ES945 and ES947 boundary microphone models.
The AT8657/LED features a touch-sensitive capacitive switch surrounded by an illuminated LED status ring that can be set between red (mute) and green (on).
Its integrated 3-pin XLR allows the table-mounting of gooseneck microphones with XLR connectors while the AT8657/LED has a 5-pin XLR out for audio and control data.
