The R2 is a multi-zone audio distribution system featuring an 8x8 digital audio matrix, based on a powerful DSP processor.
Multiple units can be cascaded using fibre interconnection modules, making it possible to transfer up to 32 channels and to extend to an unlimited number of zones.
A real-time clock enables up to 256 pre-programmed events, both one-off and recurring, to be scheduled and an RS-232 interface is provided for configuration and control with peripherals from other vendors.
