Yamaha Music Europe Ibérica is running a series of free day-long training sessions under the Yamaha Commercial Audio Training Seminar (YCATS) banner, aimed at giving audio professionals anunderstanding and working knowledge of the CL and QL series digital consoles.
YCATS aims to provide audio engineers with free advanced seminars on how to get the best from the acclaimed CL and QL series digital consoles.
Aimed at professionals with a good knowledge of digital sound, participants are given the opportunity to practice on the consoles while procedures are explained step by step.
Attendee numbers are limited to ensure that everyone enjoys high quality, hands-on time with the consoles.
The key topics covered include:
• Overview of the CL and QL Series.
• Initial setup of a system.
• Using two consoles (FOH and Monitors).
• Working with Gain Compensation.
• Live multitrack recording with Nuendo Live.
• Advanced Scene and Memory management.
• Getting started with Dante networks.
Each attendee will receive a YCATS Diploma certificate of the skills acquired during the day.
The seminars began in Madrid on 11th February and continue in the following cities:

26th February - Barcelona
3rd March - Valencia
5th March - Malaga
10th March - Lisboa
12th March - Merida
